Spring Fair – The New Secret Garden and Nursery

Saturday 9th September 9 am to 4 pm – free entry and parkingThe New Secret Garden and Nursery is celebrating Spring at their new site on the grounds of Western Sydney University at Richmond! Come and explore our beautiful new home – a wonderful community hub that keeps growing as new groups and organisations join us on this 25-acre site. We currently have a Retail Nursery, Accessible Gardens, a beautiful pond, Farmyard Animals, Children’s Playground, Fairy Garden, Mud Brick Café, Candle Making, Music Room, Recycling project, Woodwork Workshop, Hawkesbury Valley Men’s Shed and Riding for the Disabled all on site.We invite you to enjoy a delightful day out at the ‘New’ Secret Garden with family and friends! Experience cottage gardens, plants, Live Music all day, pony rides, fun children's activities, coffee, home-made Devonshire teas, freshly cooked Pizzas from our woodfired Pizza Oven, BBQ and fresh local food. An array of stalls will be selling their treasures on the village green with cakes, jams, candles, crystals, honey, metal art, hand-made crafts, soaps, bee hotels, old fashioned wares and recycled goods.The “New” Secret Garden has a focus on community inclusion based on a therapeutic environment offering a safe, supportive and educational space for people of all ages and stages of life. We welcome participants and volunteers to join us and enjoy the special energy the Secret Garden has – you are all most welcome. The retail nursery has hundreds of beautiful plants that are grown as part of the Horticultural Therapy Program with the sale of these plants enabling North West Disability Services to provide support for the delivery of all our programs. Music, Art, Meditation, Yoga, Equine and a range of animal therapies will develop over time.“We feel excited to be hosting our first Spring Fair at the ‘New’ Secret Garden to share with the community in this beautiful rural setting.
