Therapeutic Gardens is delighted to announce that we have just published our website section on ‘Sensory Gardens’. You can see this material by clicking here.We are also busily working on a further resource on creating sensory gardens that will explore this topic in greater depth and include a variety of hints, tips and plant suggestions to help you build your own therapeutic sensory garden.We have also just uploaded a new case study on a brilliant sensory garden designed by Darren Hawkes for the SeeAbility charity organisation. This garden, sponsored by Coutts & Co, received the Silver Gilt Award at the 2013 RHS Chelsea Flower Show. We have chosen to showcase this garden as an excellent example of some of the principles we have discussed for creating stimulating sensory gardens, particularly for the visually impaired.
